SKYLINE HILLS BRANCH
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

 The Friends of the San Diego Public Library (FSDPL) was formed as a 501(c)(3) in 1979.

 

The original Skyline Hills Library was built in June 1969.

 

Our Friends chapter was formed in 1983 and was active for about 20 years. After a few years of inactivity, it reformed in 2012 with 3 members.  

 

In October 2016 the City of San Diego built and opened a new Skyline Hills branch, including a Friends Bookstore. We now have over 50 members in our chapter!
