MAKE A DONATION
It's easy to support programs, services, collections and branch improvements by donating to Friends. Gifts of any size make a difference.
Donate books: We have a small bookstore, so if you have a few books you want to clear out, please bring them to us!
- We take books, DVDs, CDs.
- We do NOT take magazines, encyclopedias, or textbooks older than 5 years.
Donate time: You can volunteer for the Friends, or for the Library We are different organizations and have different requirements.
Donate money! We support the library in all that it does. In order to provide quality materials and programming, the library needs our financial assistance.

Our Friends Bookstore is run by volunteers. Our inventory is all donated to us. by the community.

BECOME A MEMBER
Friends memberships run Jan-Dec., but you can join at any time. Your annual membership dues are used to support the Skyline Hills Public Library with community programs, arts and crafts, cultural events, musical entertainment and so much more.
LIBRARY ADVOCACY
Every February the City of San Diego starts discussion budget numbers. Since 2007 the City of San Diego has not maintained its commitment to fund its public library at 6% of the City Budget (San Diego Municipal Code§22.0228 (d)). Library budgets remain below 4%.
